Sally Conway produced a dominant display at the Judo Tel-Aviv Grand Prix as she beat Seongeon Kim to win gold.

World number seven Conway came into the final bout having lost three of her previous five encounters with her South Korean rival, but never looked in trouble as she stormed to gold.

The final contest was over in a flash after Conway got the upper hand on her opponent, who struggled to contend with the Scot’s power.

Having seen off Seongyeon’s attempts to take her to the floor early on, Conway sealed the win inside two minutes after she secured a bout-winning ippon.

Conway – a bronze medal winner at the Rio 2016 Olympics – was on song throughout the day and progressed to the final in serene manner.

After she overcame Canada’s Kelita Zupancic in the last eight, the 32-year-old faced talented youngster Ai Tsunoda Roustant in the semi-final.

Again, she showed her class and secured victory by way of an ippon to advance to the gold medal match.

The medal success secured more vital Olympic qualification points for Conway as she sets her sights on competing at her third Olympics in Tokyo this summer.
