Stephanie Twell made her Olympic debut at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, narrowly missing the 1500m final after finishing sixth in the heats.
At the Commonwealth Games in 2010 she won bronze in the 1500m, before returning to Team GB for Rio 2016.
She competed in both the 3,000m and 5,000m in Brazil, finishing eighth in her heat in the latter with a time of 15:25.90.
That same year, she won European bronze in the 5,000m in Amsterdam.
A year later she won the British 5,000m title before failing to get out of the heats at the World Championships in London.
