Biography

Siobhan-Marie O’Connor became the youngest British swimmer to qualify for London 2012 after winning gold in the 100m breaststroke at the second trials in June – missing her school prom to compete in Sheffield.She missed out on selection for the 200m medley, the event she made her World Championship debut in last year, to Hannah Miley and Sophie Allen at the first trials in March.
