Two-time Olympian Saskia Clark first had her taste of the Olympic Games at Beijing 2008 when she finished sixth alongside Christina Bassadone in the women’s 470 class.
The Colchester-born sailor then teamed up with Saskia Clark in February 2011 and the pair saw immediate success on the water. A silver medal at the 2011 ISAF Sailing World Championships was followed by gold at the 2015 470 World Championships as they geared up towards the Olympic Games.
At London 2012, Clark and Mills took silver after losing out to Kiwi pair Jo Aleh and Olivia Powrie on the final race, winning one of five medals collected by Team GB at the Games.
Since London, the results have continued to impress, with a bronze medal at the 2014 World Championships following silver at the Rio 2016 Test Event the previous month.
