Biography

Mervyn Luckwell moved to sixth on the all-time UK rankings with his 83.52m personal best in Wrexham last year, which helped make amends for his failure to qualify for the World Championship team in Daegu. He achieved the Olympic qualifying standard with only the seventh 80m-plus throw of his career at the Loughborough International this year.
