Biography

Louisa Sawers followed her brother John in trying her hand at canoeing and formed part of the women’s K4 500m at London 2012.

Sawers won gold in the junior K1 and junior K2, with teammate Jessica Walker, at the Marathon World Championships in 2006.

She won European bronze in the K4 200m, again with Walker as well as Cawthorn and Hayleigh Mason, in 2009.
