Jessica Ennis-Hill is one of Britain’s brightest track and field hopes for gold at London 2012, having won world and European titles in recent years.
Ennis-Hill missed Beijing 2008 with a broken foot but a year later she won world gold in Berlin and in 2010, she added world indoor and European gold to her CV.
In 2011 however, she relinquished her world outdoor gold to Russia’s Tatyana Chernova while at the World Indoor Championships in March, she came second to defending Olympic champion Nataliya Dobrynska.
Ennis broke Denise Lewis’ 12-year- old British heptathlon record after recording a total of 6906 in Austria in May 2012 .
At the 2012 Olympic Games in London Jessica won gold in the Heptathlon.
