Biography

Jeanette was an excellent young sprinter who won medals at English Schools' Level and age group championships. She has had the early part of her sprint career held back by injuries but has always demonstrated excellent promise when fit. When Jeanette competed in the European Indoors in Birmingham 2007, she impressively won her semi-final in 7.17 seconds - the equal second fastest ever in the UK - but narrowly missed out on a bronze medal in a photo finish decision in the final. Jeanette studied politics and economics at Loughborough University.
