Jarryd Dunn began his athletics career as a middle-distance runner before switching to the shorter 400m.

He made his World Championships debut at Beijing 2015, forming part of the British 4x400m relay quartet that claimed bronze.

A year later he earned selection for his maiden Olympic Games in Rio, as part of the 4x400m relay squad.

Dunn did not make an appearance on the track in Rio but was selected for the IAAF World Relay Championships early in 2017, helping Great Britain to sixth place in the Bahamas.
