Biography

James started skiing when he was six years old and went on family ski holidays every year until he was 14. He then he discovered the Freestyle park at Sheffield Ski Village dryslope and has never looked back since; James did his first 1080 on the dry slope at Sheffield when he was just 15 years old.

He entered his first British Championships (The Brits) in Switzerland in 2006.

Since 2009, he has won the British Halfpipe Championships for four consecutive years which hasn't been achieved before.

Now competing at World Cup and World Championship level, the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games will mark his Winter Olympic debut.
