Much like fellow sprint freestyle swimmer Simon Burnett, James Disney-May bases himself in America – training and studying at Auburn University and his 100m silver at the Olympic trials in March guaranteed him a relay spot.He was part of the 4x100m freestyle relay team for the World Championships in 2011 and, despite not swimming in Shanghai, says that is his most memorable achievement.
