Biography

Heather became the fourth British woman to win an Olympic modern pentathlon medal when she won silver at the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. She finished 10 seconds behind Germany’s Lena Schoneborn.

In 2008 Fell also won two medals on the World Cup circuit and took silver at the World Cup Final in Portugal to ensure she ended the year ranked world number one.

Fell first burst on to the international scene by winning the World Junior Championships in Athens in 2003. Her highlights since the last Olympic Games have included a silver medal at the 2009 European Championships and another silver at the World Cup in Chengdu, China in 2011.

She started 2012 ranked ninth in the world.

Fell has a degree in Physiotherapy from Brunel University and is keen to pursue a career in the media.
