Biography

Ed Drake represented Team GB in Alpine skiing at the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. The Vancouver Games were Drake's debut Olympic Winter Games.

Drake's highest placed finish was 29th in the super combined. He also had a further three top 40 finishes in the downhill, super-G and giant slalom.

Taking up the sport at the age of just two, Drake was once sidelined for 20 months after a hip injury and once skied head first into a tree because he had his eyes shut!

He has twice finished in the top 30 at World Cup events in 2009, and away from the slopes, likes to take part in squash, cycling and rowing.
