Team GB's Dominic King finished 51st in the men's 50-kilometre walk at the Olympics as he came home in four hours, 15 minutes and 05 seconds.

Dominic King, who came sixth at the 2006 Commonwealth Games, took nearly eight minutes off his personal best to achieve the Olympic B qualifying standard earlier this year. King is the first British competitor in the event since Chris Maddocks at Sydney 2000 but his twin brother Daniel actually has a faster personal best.
