Casey Stoney became only the fifth English player to achieve 100 international caps earlier this year. A regular in Hope Powell’s team for over a decade, she was named England captain after the retirement of long-time defensive partner Faye White and was the captain Team GB at London 2012.
Stoney played in all four of England’s games at last year’s World Cup. She played for Arsenal, Charlton and Chelsea, the club she supports, before joining Lincoln Ladies last year.
