Britain’s snowboarders and freestyle skiers join the party this week as Team GB’s Winter Olympic hopefuls bid to repeat the success of the past seven days.
With four medals secured last week there are a host of opportunities for Britain’s athletes to ensure another fine week on the road to Sochi 2014.
Lizzy Yarnold and Dominic Parsons, who claimed skeleton gold and bronze respectively at the World Cup opener in Calgary, make the short trip to Park City.
They’ll be joined in America by their bobsleigh counterparts while snowboarding and freestyle skiing return in Montafon and Nakiska respectively.
Both sports had their World Cup openers in New Zealand back in August and there’s also cross-country skiing, ski jumping and Nordic combined in Lillehammer.
The luge World Cup lands in Whistler, venue for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics, biathlon takes in Hochfilzen in Austria while Berlin hosts speed skating.
There’s also the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final in Fukuoka while England’s women’s hockey players continue at the Argentina World League Final.
