As the winter sport season effectively comes to a close this week the summer sport season slowly gets going – we take a look now at the action of the next seven days.
Skip Ewan MacDonald continues with his Scottish rink at the World Men’s Curling Championships in Beijing with the BRITS take place in Tignes.
That incorporates the British Snowboard and Freestyle Skiing Championships while warming up for summer tennis’ Davis Cup returns with quarter-final action.
Britain face a trip to Naples to play Italy while over the weekend the annual university Boat Race between Oxford and Cambridge descends on London.
And on the other side of the globe in Auckland in New Zealand, the 2014 World Triathlon Series begins with the Grand Final to be staged in Edmonton in Canada in August.
