Around 280 Olympic and Paralympic athletes gathered on stage in Albert Square, much to the delight of the cheering crowd.

Fans lined the streets despite their rain to give the Team GB stars a hero's welcome.

Even on his day off, Max Whitlock can't resist doing some gymnastics for the crowd.

Jessica Ennis-Hill, who recently announced her retirement from heptathlon, opted to capture a memory of her own from the event.

Fans young and old were out in force to welcome the athletes back home.

The Brownlee brothers took centre stage as they were interviewed about their exploits out in Rio.
