Based on current standings Britain will have two men and one woman at Sochi 2014 – although the qualification period doesn’t end until January 19.
Vancouver 2010 Olympians Andrew Musgrave and Andrew Young have both met the Olympic qualifying standard for Sochi but aren’t confirmed of their places yet.
There are seven World Cup events prior to the qualification period closing with the circuit set to take in Kuusamo, Lillehammer, Davos, Asiago and Nove Mesto.
The prestigious Tour de Ski, in which Musgrave did so well in the sprint 12 months ago, is also factored in over the Christmas period.
It begins on December 28 in Oberhof before heading to Lenzerheide, Cortina, Toblach and Val di Fiemme where proceedings end on January 5.
While the qualification window shuts on January 19 there is still one more World Cup before the Olympics start in Sochi in Toblach at the start of February.
