Team GB begin to arrive at Rio 2016

In just seven days time we'll be gearing up for the Opening Ceremony of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games and our athletes are beginning to land in Brazil as their final preparations begin.

Slalom canoeist Joe Clarke was one of the first to check into the Olympic Village.

Richard Hounslow didn't hang around getting everyone's favourite photo with the Olympic Rings

Hockey's Sam Quek settled in quickly into her room in the Village

But not before Sam and her teammates bumped into a certain someone at Heathrow when flying out.

In fact, if you at a UK airport this week there's a good chance you saw some of our Rio 2016 Olympians making their way to Brazil.

Up in Belo Horizonte, many of our athletes are putting the finishing touches to their training at our pre-Games prep camp, and Olympic Champ Nicola Adams is keeping a close eye on the boxing squad.

Also in Belo, Sonny Webster impresses the watching media with his lifting prowess

Our track endurance team didn't miss the opportunity for a team selfie on their downtime while training

And here's where there'll all be next Friday! #BringOnTheGreat
