Scott takes control at ISAF World Cup

Former world champion Giles Scott seized the lead of the competitive Finn fleet in light winds at the ISAF World Cup in Miami.

Scott won the only race of the day to take control of the leaderboard while British team-mates Sophie Weguelin and Eilidh McIntyre now front the 470 women’s class.

The new British pairing of John Pink and Stuart Bithell find themselves at the top of the 49er standings after three races, thanks to a race win in their only race of the day.

Overnight leader Bryony Shaw remains at the top of the pile in the women's windsurfing after a fourth and first while Ben Saxton and Hannah Diamond dropped to second in the multihull Nacra 17 class.
