Scott Brash wins in Florida

Great Britain Olympic showjumping hopeful Scott Brash has claimed one of his finest career victories by landing the World Cup Grand Prix in Florida.

Peebles-based Brash guided his new horse Sanctos van het Gravenhof to victory in an 11-horse jump off, taking the $60,000 top prize.

Brash saw off a strong American challenge, with Richard Spooner (Cristallo) second and Kent Farrington (Voyeur) third.

Brash said: "This was definitely one of my best wins, for sure. I have not won a big, big grand prix like this - it's high up there."
