Olympic long jump champion Greg Rutherford insisted there was no need to panic after he was forced to withdraw from the IAAF Diamond League in Paris.
Rutherford said he was not worried about next month's IAAF World Championships in Moscow after sustaining a hamstring injury.
"The old injury strikes," he said. "The Worlds are still five and a half weeks away, plenty of time for this old hand.
"In 2009 I tore my hamstring three weeks before the World Championships in Berlin and broke the British record in the first round of qualification."
In Rutherford's absence, 400m hurdler Perri Shakes Drayton produced the best British performance, finishing second behind Czech rival Zuzana Hejnova in 53.96 seconds.
Elsewhere, Steve Lewis equalled his season's best with a 5.60 metre effort in the pole vault that earned him sixth place.
And Marilyn Okoro clocked her best time of the year, 1:59.76 to finish fifth in the women's 800m.
