Goals from Helen Richardson-Walsh and an Alex Danson brace ensure Team GB’s women’s hockey team reached their first Olympic final with a 3-0 defeat of New Zealand.

Rajiv Ouseph missed out on a semi-final berth but Ben Maher and Nick Skelton kept their showjumping medal hopes alive in Deodoro by securing qualification for the individual final.
Cindy Ofili missed out on a fifth track and field medal for Team GB by just 0.02 seconds as she was edged into fourth in the women’s 100m hurdles final.
Savannah Marshall also missed out on the medals but there Hannah MIlls and Saskia Clark will be hopeful of claiming theirs on Day 13 after missing out on the chance to race.
