Preview: Sunday 9 February at the Sochi 2014 Olympics

All the British action is up in the mountains on Sunday with four Team GB athletes are in action at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games in three different sports.

Jenny Jones and Aimee Fuller will look to make the women's snowboard slopestyle final by finishing in the top four positions in the 15 rider semi-final.

Double X Games gold medallist Jones missed out on progressing automatically by just one place during Thursday's qualifiers, in which Austria's Anna Gasser set the standard and underlined why she'll be one to watch.

Callum Smith will make his Olympic debut in the skiathlon and is targeting a top 50 place.

He revealed two-time Olympian swimmer Hannah Miley has been helping him with strength conditioning.

"She's been helping me with a bit of strength training, but I'm not much of a swimmer," he said.

"It's my first Olympics and I'm only 21, so I've got to be realistic about my expectations. I would be over the moon to make the top 50 because I'm so new to the sport and people do take time to develop."

Amanda Lightfoot makes her Olympic debut in the women's 7.5km sprint.

The top-60 finishers in the ‘sprint’ will qualify for the 10km ‘pursuit’, where competitors start at staggered times dependent on their placing in the previous events.

Lightfoot, who serves in the Army’s Adjutant General’s Corp, only started skiing seven years ago.

“I went on an Army adventure course which was skiing. Until then I’d never put on a pair of skis, or actually seen the sport, in my life," she said.
