Team GB shooter Jennifer McIntosh failed in her bid to reach the final of the women's 50m rifle three positions.

The 21-year-old Scot, who is the youngest member of Britain's shooting team, scored 570 from a possible 600 points in the event where competitors shoot prone, kneeling and standing.

Her total over six rounds left her down in 42nd place out of the 46 shooters who started.

Qualifying for the final was led by America's Jamie Lynn Gray with a score of 592, just two points outside the world record.
