Olympic gold medallist Peter Charles has withdrawn from this week's Horse of the Year Show in Birmingham.
Charles, a member of Great Britain's Olympic title-winning showjumping team at London 2012, is recovering from groin surgery.
"Unfortunately, I won't be able to compete at the Horse of the Year Show this year," Charles said on his Facebook page.
"I have to give my injury time to heal following surgery, which is going to require a few weeks' rest."
Charles' London colleague Scott Brash will be in action at the NEC, though, with three of his string - Intertoy Z, Bon Ami and Sebastian.
