Great Britain basketball star Joel Freeland has completed his move to NBA side the Portland Trail Blazers, the club have confirmed.
The 25-year-old has moved to the NBA from Unicaja Malaga in the Spanish ACB League after agreeing a three-year deal with the Trail Blazers.
"The timing was right to bring Joel over and we're thrilled it worked out," Portland general manager Neil Olshey said. "He is a rugged interior player with a nice touch around the basket and he plays hard every game. Joel will be a nice addition to the roster."
Freeland becomes the second NBA player in the British Olympic squad alongside Chicago Bulls star Luol Deng.
GB coach Chris Finch is an assistant with the Houston Rockets.
Freeland will return for GB's Olympic warm-up match against the United States in Manchester on Thursday.
