Four Olympians in GB team for Archery World Championships

Lloyd Brown admits he will head to the Archery World Championships from September 29 to October 6 full of confidence after naming the British team set to compete in Antalya.

London 2012 Olympians Naomi Folkard, Amy Oliver, Alan Wills and Larry Godfrey have all been selected in the recurve along with Becky Martin and Kieran Slater.

Meanwhile Dani Brown, Rikki Bingham, Andrea Gales, Adam Ravenscroft, Duncan Busby and Chris Bell will all compete in the non-Olympic compound discipline in Turkey.

The announcement comes after two selection shoots in April and June with Brown, Olympic coach of Archery GB, optimistic ahead of the World Championships getting going.

He said: “All the athletes have shown great form this year making this a really strong team. With the experience of Naomi, Amy, Alan and Larry and the youth of Becky and Kieran we have high hopes for the World Championships.”
