England gearing up for Men’s Hockey World League Semi-Final in London

England will be hoping for home comforts when they take on Olympic champions Argentina at the prestigious Men’s Hockey World League Semi-Final in London in June.

The Hockey World League Semi-Final sees the very best men’s teams do battle with those who have fought their way through from World League 2.

Bobby Crutchley’s new-look England will blend experience and youthful exuberance and will be keen to channel the home support as they take on some of the finest players in the game.

As well as taking on Argentina Crutchley troops will also come up against South Korea and two qualifiers, and with tickets beginning at just £2.50 for children and £10 for adults the players will be hoping to be cheered on by a raucous home crowd. Sunday June 18 has already been dubbed “Super Sunday” and it is not difficult to see why with Pakistan and India doing battle. With 11 Olympic titles between them this has historically been one of the fiercest rivalries in the game and it shows no sign of letting up as India had the edge at the 2016 Asian Champions Trophy.

Follow that up with hosts England going head to head with the Olympic Champions Argentina it will be a day to remember.
