Double bronze for youthful British team at cycling World Cup

Great Britain's youthful team sprinters collected double bronze at cycling's UCI World Cup in Guadalajara.

Victoria Williamson, 21, and Dannielle Khan, 18, beat France to take third spot on the podium, underlining their position from qualifying. Trade team Max Success Pro Cycling won gold ahead of Russia.

John Paul, Callum Skinner and Lewis Oliva were awarded bronze in the men’s competition following relegation for France in their ride-off.

Track officials made their ruling after an error by the experienced Gregory Bauge and Kevin Sireau while the Netherlands took gold ahead of Germany.
