British crews remain on course

Great Britain's Star and Sonar crews remained top of the standings after a weather-affected day at the French World Cup regatta in Hyeres.

Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson sit at the top of the Star class despite losing their mast in their first and only race of the day.

John Robertson, Hannah Stodel and Steve Thomas maintained their lead of the Sonar class by finishing second with one day to go.

Alison Young remained in the podium positions in the Laser Radial event ahead of Friday's medal race, while the women's match race girls - Lucy Macgregor, Annie Lush and Kate Macgregor - sit fourth overall after losing to Russia's Ekaterina Skudina.

The 2.4mR. SKUD & 49er classes were confined to the shore on Thursday due to strong winds, which are forecast once again on the final day.
