After a successful 2014 season, Chris Adcock is already looking forward to next year and taking on the world’s best at the All England Open Badminton Championships in March.
London 2012 Olympian Adcock, who won gold with wife Gabby at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games this summer, is set to feature in front of another British crowd at the NIA in Birmingham.
The All England Championships is the oldest and most prestigious badminton tournament in the world and is a Superseries Premier event, making it one of the major competitions on the calendar.
Adcock, 25, who has three Commonwealth medals to his name, recognised the importance of the event as a chance to test himself against the top players on the planet from March 3-8 next year.
“The All England is my favourite tournament to play in – it has so much history and there are always so many passionate fans in the crowd to support us,” said Adcock.
“Every year the world’s best players compete in Birmingham for the All England title and it has a really special atmosphere for us all.”
Tickets for the event start from just £15.50 for an adult and £5 for children and can be found on the event page here along with more information on the championships themselves.
