Tre Whyte joined British Cycling’s BMX Academy Programme when it was re-established in December 2011.

Originally from Peckham, in south London, he now trains full-time at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester.
He claimed bronze at his first ever World Championship in 2014, taking advantage of a five-man crash to seal a spot on the podium, and in 2015 he became national champion.
