Sarah Barrow and Tonia Couch became the first British females to win a European medal for 74 years when they took 10m synchro gold at the 2012 European Championships.
Later that year, Barrow made her Olympic debut at London 2012 alongside Couch before achieving the best World Championships finish by a British woman in the event’s history, coming fourth in the 10m final in 2013.
The Plymouth diver won two more European medals – including 2014 10m platform gold - and Commonwealth silver before returning to the Olympic stage at Rio 2016 and she retired from competition shortly after the Games.
