About Sam

Sam Walker broke onto the international table tennis scene in 2014, when he competed for England at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, winning a silver medal.

Two years later, he was part of the England team which won bronze medals at the World Team Championships in Malaysia, England’s first medal at that level since 1983 and the first time a newly-promoted team had earned a podium place at the event.

As a junior, Sam was a two-time national champion and won the junior Masters competition three years in a row, before being crowned under-21 national champion.
