An extremely talented junior runner, Non Stanford was Welsh Schools 1,500m champion in 2003, 2003 and 2004.
A series of injuries kept her off the track and after spending time in the pool Non switched to triathlon and soon established herself on the world stage.
The Swansea native won the Grand Final of the 2013 ITU World Series, missed 2014 through injury but was back to finish second in 2015 and then secured selection for her debut Olympic Games in 2016.
