Joanna Drinkhall (nee Parker) won mixed doubles bronze at the 2010 Commonwealth Games with Paul Drinkhall, three years before the duo got married.

Joanna, who grew up in Chertsey and trained at the national academy in Nottingham from 1999 to 2003, also competed for GB at London 2012.

But it was back at the Commonwealth Games where she would find great success, teaming up with her husband to win the mixed doubles gold at Glasgow 2014, beating compatriots Liam Pitchford and Tin-Tin Ho in the final.
