BIOGRAPHY

London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympian Jen McIntosh won two golds and a bronze at the 2010 Commonwealth Games aged just 19, before becoming the most decorated female athlete in Scottish Commonwealth Games history at Glasgow 2014 with silver and bronze – a record previously held by her mother, Shirley McIntosh.

She made her Olympic debut at London 2012, finishing 36th in the women’s 10m air rifle event and 42nd in the 50m rifle three positions, before finishing ninth and seventh in the same events respectively at the Baku 2015 European Games.

Also in 2015, McIntosh finished fourth in the 50m rifle 3 positions event at the European Championships in Slovenia, securing a quota place for Team GB for Rio 2016.

Despite not making the final in either of her events at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, she went on to claim two golds at the 2017 European Shooting Championships in Baku – in the 50m rifle prone and 50m rifle 3 positions team events.
