Having previously represented Great Britain in bobsleigh, Heather Fisher was part of the rugby sevens side which narrowly missed out on bronze at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

The Birmingham-born flanker won the 2014 in the XVs format with England before switching to sevens and becoming the team’s top try scorer in the 2015/16 World Series, with 14 tries.

Two of those tries came in the final victory over New Zealand in the Canada leg, with Fisher named as the player of the final.
