Georgia-Mae Fenton made her elite debut in 2013 aged 12 at the English Espoir Championships, where she won gold in the all-round.
She made her British debut later in the year at the Japan Junior International.
In 2015 she switched her training base from Europa Gymnastics Centre to East London Gymnastics and competed at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Georgia, as her team finished seventh.
Silver on the bars at the British Championships in 2017 led to her selection for the worlds in Montreal later that year, where she narrowly missed out on making the final in the same discipline.
It was at the 2018 Commonwealth Games that Fenton claimed her maiden senior gold, topping the podium in the uneven bars and adding a team all-around silver to her collection for good measure.
She was a member of the team that finished fourth in the European Championships later that year, also taking 8th in the floor event.
