Up in Gateshead Britain’s track and field athletes will want to give head coach Peter Eriksson a fine send off ahead of him leaving his post to return to Canada at the end of the month.

Hockey returns to London with the start of the women’s World League Semi-Final while Britain’s basketball team will bid to continue their fine start at the EuroBasket in France.
