Four-time Olympic champion Ben Ainslie has won his fourth ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year award.
The 35-year-old, who took gold in the Finn class at the London Olympics this summer, took the men's crown at an awards ceremony in Dublin, while China's Xu Lijia won the women's equivalent.
"Winning the ISAF Rolex World Sailor of the Year award is a huge honour, especially for everyone who has helped me," Ainslie said.
"There is a huge team in the background from family, friends, coaches and sponsors who helped make it happen. It is a huge honour to be part of such a group of exceptional sailors who were put forward for this award."
Ainslie's gold this summer made him the most successful sailor of all time.
Xu was honoured after becoming the first Chinese sailor to win an Olympic Gold medal in a dinghy sailing boat.
