Pavey achieves 'A' standard

Britain's Jo Pavey achieved the 10,000 metres Olympic 'A' standard as she finished second at the European Cup in Bilbao on Sunday evening.
The 38-year-old clocked a season's best 31 minutes 32.22 seconds as she finished behind Portuguese winner Sara Moreira.
Pavey, a former Commonwealth Games silver medallist over 5,000m, has turned her attention to winning a place at the London Games on the track after missing out on a spot in the marathon.
Charlotte Purdue finished seventh in 32mins 18.44secs and Gemma Steel ninth in a personal best 32m 34.81 as Britain won the team competition.
Kenya-born Turk Polat Kemboi Arikan won the men's race in 27:56.28.
