Page bouncing with joy ahead of World Trampoline Champs

Bryony Page insists Great Britain can more than hold their own this week as the 2014 Trampoline World Championships kicks off in Daytona Beach, Florida.

A mix of experienced performers and emerging talent has travelled across the pond to do Great Britain proud, with Page set for her third World Championships outing.

Page heads into the competition full of confidence having pipped London 2012 Olympian Kat Driscoll to the British title earlier this year.

And she is hoping to continue her fine form in America, where she believes Great Britain will have plenty to shout about as she is joined on the trampoline team by Driscoll, Pamela Clark and Lewis Bartlett – the latter competing in his first major international competition.

“We’ve been training at Lilleshall throughout the week for a month now in preparation for the Championships,” Page said.

“The trampoline team is quite small but it’s a very strong one and we are all up there with the best in the world.

“Personally, I want to improve upon my performance from the last two Worlds where I made a few mistakes. This time round I just want to come away feeling happy and satisfied with my performance.”
