Scotland's curlers remain without a win from the World Championships in Canada after defeat to Norway and Czech Republic.
The results see the men go further adrift at the bottom of the table with Russia and USA next up as they continue their quest for an elusive win.
Ewan MacDonald's team went down to their fourth loss 11-6 to the Norwegians after they fell 6-1 behind in the second end and were always playing catchup.
And a tight match saw them fall 8-6, the real damage coming in the eighth end when an attempted tap-up from MacDonald went wrong and the Czechs stole two shots for a 7-5 lead.
Natalie Powell capped a strong week for British Judo by adding silver to the three bronze medals already won at the Samsun Grand Prix in Turkey.
Powell defeated 2013 world champion Kyong Sol on her way to the podium spots while earlier in the competition Nekoda Davis took bronze in the -57kg category after a helter-skelter bout with Tina Zeltner.
There was more success in the -70kg division as Sally Conway won her first medal of the year with victory over Roxane Taeymans and Alice Schlesinger was third at -63kg.
Lead women’s coach Kate Howey said: “It was a very successful Grand Prix for the women with some great performances from both the older players and the younger ones coming through.
“Medals at this level are important; every medal means points towards Rio 2016 Olympic qualification.”
Olympic silver medallist David Florence will start his quest for a third successive Olympic Games when the UK Canoe Slalom Championships take place at Lee Valley White Water Centre next weekend.
Florence was one of four medallists at London 2012 as British Canoeing enjoyed its most successful Olympic Games, winning two gold, one silver and one bronze medal and he will be back at the same venue once again for the UK Championships, which get underway on Friday.
"This is a very important season for our canoe slalom athletes, which will ultimately decide Olympic boat qualification and team member selection," he said.
"There is also the exciting opportunity to compete here at Lee Valley at a home World Championships in September, with the benefit of home crowd support.”
William Fox-Pitt and Zara Phillips will lead the charge for Great Britain’s equestrian riders at April’s four-star Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event.
Fox-Pitt took the crown in America last year and will be looking for more of the same at the first big test for riders in the 2015 calendar.
The 46-year-old took top spot on Bay My Hero in 2014 and will head to Kentucky with three rides – including last year’s winner.
Nicola Wilson will also compete as well as James Alliston and Francis Whittington.
Eventing performance manager Yogi Breisner said: “Rolex is a very prestigious event and it’s exciting to go there with so many good British combinations.”
