Laura Tomlinson, winner of Olympic dressage team gold and individual bronze at London 2012, has announced that she is pregnant.
Tomlinson joined forces with Carl Hester and Charlotte Dujardin as Great Britain won dressage team gold at London 2012 while she also took individual bronze aboard Mistral Hojris.
That completed a fine partnership between Tomlinson and Mistral Hojris having also won triple world silver and four European medals together in the build up to the Games.
She recently retired Mistral Hojris from competition at Olympia and revealed she is due to give birth this summer having wed polo player Mark Tomlinson in March.
A statement on her Facebook page read: "Laura and Mark are delighted to announce that they are expecting their first baby in July. Laura is feeling well and will continue to ride and compete for as long as she feels comfortable."
