No skeet final for Team GB duo

Great Britain shooting duo Rory Warlow and Richard Brickell narrowly missed out on places in the final of the men's skeet.

Warlow, 22, from Plymouth, began the day four points off the lead and 36-year-old Brickell, from Newbury, a point further back following Monday's opening qualifiers.

Another big crowd had gathered on the shotgun range at the Royal Artillery Barracks for the skeet - where competitors fire at clay targets from seven different positions.

Both Brits realistically needed to shoot perfect 50s over their two remaining rounds to stand any chance of progressing, and both opened up with 25 to raise the hopes of the noisy home support.

But Warlow missed two shots in round two and Brickell one, leaving them tied on 118, just two points short of forcing a shoot-off.
