Lee and Goodfellow show consistency with Dubai bronze

Matthew Lee and Daniel Goodfellow are proving themselves to be a consistent 10m synchro pair after claiming a second successive Diving World Series bronze medal in Dubai.

Lee and Goodfellow began the 2014 World Series with bronze at the Water Cube in Beijing, venue for swimming, diving and synchronised swimming at the 2008 Olympics.

And they proved that wasn’t a one-off by securing bronze again as the World Series moved from Asia to Dubai with their total of 380.52 placing them on the podium.

German duo Patrick Hausding and Sascha Klein won silver with 437.76 while China’s Cao Yuan and Lin Yue won their second gold in a row with 475.32.

Lee and Goodfellow were joined on the first day of action in Dubai by fellow Brits Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow who placed fifth in the women’s 10m synchro.
