Johanna Konta and Katie Boulter will spearhead Great Britain’s Fed Cup charge when they host Kazakhstan.
The pair were key in Britain’s run to the World Group II play-off by winning all of their singles matches in February’s qualifiers against Slovenia, Greece, Hungary and Serbia.
And they have been joined in the unchanged side by Heather Watson, Harriet Dart and Katie Swan for the tie, which takes place at London’s Copper Box on Easter weekend.
“I’m delighted to name our strongest possible team to represent Great Britain at Copper Box Arena in ten days’ time against Kazakhstan,” said captain Anne Keothavong.
“It promises to be a memorable occasion as we aim to reach the World Group level for the first time since 1993, staged against the iconic backdrop of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London, a place that has special significance for me.
“There is little to separate the two teams in terms of rankings but I’m confident the home fans will give all our players an inspirational lift, just like we had in Bath earlier in February.
“It’s also very important to our team to open up our sport to new fans and increase awareness of tennis at different times of the year.”
Britain celebrated their first home Fed Cup matches in 26 years in Bath this year and now head to the Copper Box, home of volleyball and modern pentathlon at London 2012.
Konta is Britain’s highest-ranked player at number 47 in the world, while Boulter is 88th.
